Bali airport map: runway, aprons and the two terminals
The runway runs along the coast, with the aircraft stands (aprons) between it and the buildings. Both terminals sit in a row facing the road, each with its own car park, and one airport road serves them both. The grey block between them is a third airport building that OpenStreetMap records without a name, so we show it plain and leave it out of the terminal diagrams below.

Two terminals, two separate zones
This is the one thing worth knowing before you fly through Bali. The two terminals are neighbours on the same frontage, and before security you can walk from one to the other. Past the screening point that stops: the domestic and international halves are separate secure areas, and no boarding pass or membership card moves you between them.
The practical consequence is money. The two domestic lounges cost roughly a third of the international ones, but they are unreachable once you have cleared security for an international flight. Bali airport arrivals map: visa, immigration and the hall
Landing follows a familiar order, and the zones above run in the same sequence from the aircraft stands towards the city side. If you need a Visa on Arrival and have not bought it online, you pay at the counter before joining the immigration queue. Buying the e-VOA in advance sends you to the automated gates instead, which is the single biggest time-saver on arrival.
After immigration you collect your bags and present the electronic customs declaration, then step into the public hall. Bali airport departures map: check-in, security and lounges
Departures run the same zones in reverse. Plan to be at check-in about three hours before an international flight and two hours before a domestic one, then clear security to reach the shops, cafes and lounges. Free Wi-Fi covers the terminal, and the international departure tax is normally built into the ticket price.
Three lounges sit on the international side. The Concordia Lounge is on the 3rd floor at the left-hand end of International Departures and takes Priority Pass, DragonPass, LoungeKey and Dreamfolks, or about US$33–45 booked ahead. The Tujuwan Lounge, on the mezzanine above immigration near Gate 2, sells a walk-in for around IDR 600,000 and is the only international option with showers, though it is not in the Priority Pass network. The Garuda lounge nearby is for premium cabins and eligible status only. On the domestic side, Blue Sky Premier and Concordia Domestic sit on the 2nd floor near Gate 6 at roughly US$11–19. One gap worth planning around. On the international side Concordia runs 06:00–02:00 and the Flight Club restaurant, which accepts a Priority Pass dining credit, stops at 01:00; Tujuwan does not publish consistent hours. Between 02:00 and 06:00, plan on nothing being dependably open. The domestic lounges keep shorter days again: 05:00–22:00 and 05:30–21:30.
Getting from Bali airport to your hotel
Step out of arrivals and the options line up along the same frontage. At the taxi desk the price is set by destination zone rather than by a meter, so you agree it before you travel and pay in rupiah. Pre-booked drivers wait at the transfer meeting point with a name board, and car parks sit beside each terminal for short stays and pick-ups.
Distances here are best judged in time rather than kilometres, because traffic in the south of the island moves slowly. The run into Kuta takes 10 to 15 minutes on a clear road.
